Local processing

ArcMorrow reads, creates, and extracts archives from files you select, locally on your Mac. The current version has no accounts, ads, analytics SDKs, app-operated cloud service, or file upload feature. Creating and extracting archives do not require an internet connection.

Information stored by the app

Recent-item history is off by default. If you turn it on, the app stores recent file names, paths, timestamps, and security-scoped bookmarks on your Mac only; you can clear them in Settings. Your language, appearance, and other preferences are also stored locally.

Passwords and temporary files

Passwords are used only for the current task and are not written to history, settings, command-line arguments, or network services. A task creates a temporary folder near the output directory and cleans it up after completion, failure, or cancellation. A sudden loss of power may leave a temporary folder behind; check for one when no task is running and remove it if needed.

Third-party services

Apple’s operating system and the Mac App Store may handle purchase, crash, or diagnostic information under Apple’s own policies; ArcMorrow does not collect this information itself. If you choose an iCloud, network, or other synced folder, the relevant service handles it under its own policies.
